Israeli ingredients company Gadot Biochemical Industries Ltd. announced this week that it has developed a new, highly bioavailable, soluble magnesium supplement based on citric acid. The company claims that the GADOMAG+ supplement can be used when developing beverages and sports drinks for the functional food market. In addition to the solubility of GADOMAG+, its production process allows the customer to choose the exact Magnesium content required for their application. When developing a product with an acidic pH, GADOCAL+ , a further novel product of Gadot for calcium supplementation, and GADOMAG+ can be custom blended to the desired concentrations and ratios of calcium and magnesium. These custom blends allow for supplementation of both calcium and magnesium while maintaining solubility. Gadot Biochemical Industries, Ltd.​ (GBI) manufactures high quality products, such as citric acid, citrates, phosphates and various mineral fortifiers.
