Pilot study gives sign of fish oil for insulin sensitivity

A pilot study investigating the effects of fish oil supplements has
hinted that there may be some benefits for insulin resistance
which, if substantiated in bigger trials, could open up a new area
of benefits for the healthy ingredient in the future.
Supplementation with omega-3 fatty acids could reduce fat mass in
diabetics, as well as improving blood lipid levels associated with
the formation of arterial plaque, suggests a new study from France.
In utero undernourishment is believed to alter the body's
metabolic programmming, increasing the risk of adult diseases in
