Herbal viagra banned from making drug claims in UK

Related tags Erectile dysfunction

The UK Medicinal Health products Regulatory Agency (MHRA) has warned a number of products being sold as “Golden Root Complex” to cease marketing themselves being registered and approved by the MHRA.

Golden root, otherwise known as Rhodiola rosea, is a herb commonly used in place of viagra for men with erectile dysfunction.

No rhodiola products are licensed by the MHRA to make claims about sexual dysfunction.

An internet scan indicated golden root sellers had abided by the MHR’s request.
