Oat beta glucan makes claims on European cholesterol market

The European Union cholesterol-lowering market has a new player after an oat beta glucan's claim was written in to European law books this month.

Ruedi Duss, the managing director of CreaNutrition, the Swiss-Swedish oat beta glucan specialist behind the claim, told NutraIngredients what it means to have won a rare article 14 disease risk factor reduction claim: After a few millions of euros of investment, it means a lot.
