Consumers for Health Choice: 'There are advantages and disadvantages to remaining and to leaving.'
“One of our guiding principles at CHC is that ordinary men and women should be able to make up their own mind about the safe, higher-potency supplements that they take. This principle obviously applies even more so to great questions such as Britain’s membership of the EU, so here at CHC we will not take a stance on whether the UK should remain or leave,” said Michael Peet, chair of the UK-based pro-supplements group.
“There are advantages and disadvantages to remaining and to leaving. At CHC we would like the referendum campaign to clearly and succinctly explain the advantages of their particular side, so that ordinary consumers can feel well-informed enough to make the decision that seems right to them. Whatever happens, we have no doubt that the natural products sector in the UK will continue to flourish and that CHC will be here to protect consumer choice in safe, higher-potency supplements.”
