The firm’s MD, Dr Sybille Buchwald-Werner said by controlling the fruit and plant cultivation methods, it was able to produce lemon balm and mango extracts that provided the benefits.
As a new exhibitor at the recent Food Ingredients Asia trade show in Bangkok, the firm showcased theses two products – Bluenesse (made from lemon balm extract) and Careflow (made from mango fruit powder) at the show.
Dr Buchwald-Werner also discussed the market prospects of functional beverage in Asia and the different consumption trends between Asia and the Western world.
