NutraCast: Shehzad Hoosein on Ayurveda + CBD
Ayurveda is an ancient eastern medical practice that’s been around over 5 thousand years. And while CBD isn’t anything new, modern medicine has only recently began conducting research.

In a world where stress and chronic diseases are on the rise, so is interest in more natural, alternative options. Shehzad Hoosein, The Root of it All founder, is hoping to provide more natural remedies for everyday health concerns by combining Ayerveda and CBD.

"Growing up in an Indian household, we believe that a state of mind body balance is the root of health and wellbeing. In our quest for that perfect state, the ancient science of Ayurvedic herbs and spices were used to treat everyday conditions, round the clock. Like many people, I have a deep desire to avoid pharmaceutical medicines because of the chemicals they contain, the dependence they create and their increasing impact on the environment. Having seen how my family always benefited from natural remedies, I was inspired to discover a way to use the natural power of CBD to amplify the therapeutic effects of Ayurvedic essential oils,” explained Hoosein.
