More speakers join the SANS Europe line-up

NutraIngredients is delighted to reveal a whole host of expert speakers who are set to join the stellar line-up for the Sports and Active Nutrition Summit Europe (SANSE) in Amsterdam this autumn.

Taking place on 5-7 October at Amsterdam Marriott Hotel, SANSE 2022 is an unmissable event for those in the sports and active nutrition industry.

Household names

Lee Boakes from Huel and Simon Jurkiw from Bulk are among the latest names to be confirmed as taking to the stage at the event in the Netherlands capital in October.

Delegates will also hear from Adam Leyland, Editor-in-Chief of The Grocer, who will lead a session on a retailer’s perspective of the sports and active nutrition landscape.

In addition, NutraIngredients is pleased to announce that Dr Mariette Abrahams of Qina, Professor James Betts from the Centre for Nutrition, Exercise and Metabolism, University of Bath and Zarina Kanji from Alibaba have been added to the speaker list.

The new names join Garyth Stone of Houlihan Lokey and Karl Bickley from Glanbia Performance Nutrition, who have already been revealed as SANSE 2022 speakers.

"These latest additions to the speaker line-up cement the Summit as the leading sports nutrition event in the calendar."

Returning in person this year, the Summit will combine a number of content-rich presentations, panel discussions and interviews with a number of experts and thought-leaders in the industry.

Key themes on the agenda will be the state of the nation, fuelling performance and recovery, biological based nutrition – the female athlete, sports nutrition in a digital age and keeping people active.

Over the three days, delegates will also have a host of networking opportunities, including morning and evening receptions, a roundtable lunch, refreshment breaks and speed networking.

SANS Start-up Stars

Running alongside the Summit is the SANSE Start-up Stars competition, for which entries are now open.

NutraIngredients is on the hunt for entrepreneurial consumer-facing, science- or technology-based sports nutrition new businesses to join our community and present their company at the event. Winning entrants will also receive pre- and post-event coverage on NutraIngredients.com, a complimentary delegate place at the Summit and two nights' accommodation.

To be eligible, companies must have started to trade no earlier than ​1.1.2017 and no later than 1.1.2022. They must also be based and founded in Europe.
