Related tags active nutrition summit

NutraIngredients Europe is on the search for three 'Startup Stars' in the active nutrition market to present their innovations to a room full of industry experts at the upcoming Active Nutrition Summit.

After recently launching its newly branded three day conference set to take place in Amsterdam in October (9th-11th), the team has launched its annual search for the three most innovative new companies in this field to join the event's 'Startup Stars' panel.

Judged by our editorial panel, winners of this competition will receive a prize bundle that could give them a head start in the market with the chance to present their business on stage, a full delegate place at the conference, business branding on the Start-up Hub situated within the networking area summit, coverage in NutraIngredients including a preview article, and the opportunity to appear in multimedia coverage of the event.

To be eligible to enter, companies must: have started to trade no earlier than 2019, be independently owned, and be based and founded in Europe. The deadline for entries to this competition is July 28th 2023.

Nikki Hancocks, Editor for NutraIngredients Europe, said of the competition: "This is a fantastic opportunity for any young business in the world of active nutrition to make a name for themselves within the industry. Not only will winners get to attend a prominent industry event, but they will join our stellar line-up of experts speaking on the stage.

"I always enjoy hosting this panel as it provides those immersed in the industry with food for thought from newcomers to the space. Often the startup founders who join the event come away with fantastic feedback and advice for the future, as well as new connections, insights and inspiration from the other sessions at the conference."

Audience (6)

Registration for the full conference opened earlier this month with discounted early bird tickets available.

The newly branded conference is an evolution of NI's prominent annual Sports & Active Nutrition Summit which has been a calendar highlight since 2018.

This year's event, taking place at the Amsterdam Marriott hotel will provide delegates with insights into the increasingly holistic and mass market view of 'sports' nutrition from some of the leading names in the industry.

The focus for 2023 is on keeping all consumers, elite athletes and weekend warriors alike, healthy and active no matter their demographic or performance target.

Content pillars will cover all the hottest topics in the industry today including cognitive health and esports, women’s health, life-stages nutrition, and personalisation.

Expert speakers will provide insights into the latest science, regulation, product innovation, trends and marketing strategies, with presentations and panel discussions which delve into the microbiome, botanical discoveries, technological advancements, to name just a few.

Morning Run

Some of the confirmed speakers will be revealed later this month, with further agenda details revealed soon after.

But the event is about more than what's on stage, with a three day programme of networking opportunities including a roundtable lunch, evening dinner and drinks receptions, a morning run, and regular networking agenda breaks.

Tickets encompass access to: the welcome reception, three days of engaging and insightful content, roundtable lunch discussion on day two, evening reception on day two, networking opportunities throughout, plus an exclusive discount to attend other events.

Discounted tickets are also available for new startups, groups, and academics plus NutraIngredients has secured a discounted accommodation rate, allowing delegates to truly feel part of the conference community whilst onsite at the summit.
