The powdered superfoods brand, Bioglan Superfoods, is joining the cognitive health trend with its new launch - Brain Boost.
The blend contains a mix of botanicals like Lion's Mane, Cordyceps and Ginseng, fortified with folic acid, Vitamin B5, B6 and B12 with the aim to improve energy, focus and clarity of mind.
Hero ingredients in the blend are: Lion’s mane mushroom, rich in polysaccharides and beta-glucans to support memory; Cordyceps, well-known energy enhancing mushrooms which have long been used in classic Chinese medicine; and Ginseng, a traditional medicinal and adaptogenic herb, most used by ancient East Asian cultures.
Active ingredients are blended cocoa powder, making the powder compatible with smoothies, meals, drinks, or water.
Multi-fibre medical drink
Nutricia, a brand under the Danone umbrella, has launched its first medical nutrition drink with a mix of real fruit and vegetable ingredients, specifically formulated for the dietary management of disease-related malnutrition and faltering growth in paediatric patients.
Providing one third of the recommended daily intake of fruits & vegetables, Fortini + Mix Multi Fibre joins the Fortini paediatric feed range.

Menopause gummies
Vitamin gummies specialist Novomins has launched a new line of gummies to provide “holistic relief” from menopause symptoms by supporting hormonal regulation, energy levels, sleep, and an active lifestyle.
'Meno-Balance' contain 19 vitamins, minerals, and botanicals, including: Probiotics, vitamins A, C, D3, B vitamins, folic acid, zinc, magnesium, maca root, seabuckthorn, tribulus terrestris extract, and salvia officinalis.
Each serving contains 1 billion friendly bacteria to support intimate and gut health, including L. Acidophilus, L. Rhamnous, L. Reuteri, and L. Paracasei.
The strawberry-flavoured gummies are gelatin-, gluten-, and dairy-free, and NON-GMO.
Skin rejuvenator
Nutricosmetics manufacturer Hebe Life has launched GPH 5 Complex, a “collagen stimulator and skin rejuvenator” supplement designed to promote address ageing at its core.
The gluten-free, non-GMO, Halal and Informed Sport certified product combines clinically-backed, patented ingredients, in a ready-to-drink shot.
The product is claimed to contain the “world’s first” full-spectrum molecular weight hyaluronic acid, to boost moisture in the skin.
It also contains a phytoceramides complex. Ceramides are lipids which form the skin’s protective barrier, so this ingredient aims to create smoother, plumper and more youthful looking skin.
Added hydrolysed collagen peptides (types 1 and 3) alongside vitamin C work to stimulate fibro-blast cells to increase collagen metabolism, for smoother and firmer skin, fewer wrinkles and stronger fingernails.
The incorporation of bioavailable Zinc also protects the cells from damage and promotes skin healing.
Fermented flavours
Expanding its range of sustainable, natural flavour ingredients, BASF Aroma Ingredients has launched two new additions to its 'Isobionics' portfolio.
These natural products use only renewable raw materials and they are produced via fermentation technology, which makes them independent from harvest conditions and seasonality and free from agricultural residues.
Isobionics Natural (-)-alpha-Bisabolol 99 has a warm eugenol, carnation, smooth powdery vanilla like, cedar and grapefruit taste, with a weak odour of warm eugenol and carnation.
Isobionics Natural alpha-Bisabolene 98 is a clear to pale yellow liquid. At a usage level of 20-40 ppm it displays a white flowery with a creamy lactone note and a coconut milk taste.
