With demand for protein and healthier product innovation rapidly on the rise in Asia, top brands will discuss these topics in detail at this year’s Growth Asia Summit

One of the world’s most-recognised dairy protein brands Bel Group will be speaking on its work with not only dairy but also healthy snacking innovation, tying in closely with rising global focus on these two areas.

Bel’s Chief Strategy Officer - Asia David Naidu will be discussing how the firm is transforming to focus on snack products that are nutritionally dense yet still delicious.

In addition, Calbee will be speaking about granola in its presentation, focusing on ‘Advancing Wellbeing Through Food: Calbee’s Body Granola Service’.

Calbee Chief Technology Officer and Managing Executive Officer for New Business Advancement Division will share more on the firm’s personalized food service providing granolas optimized for individuals based on gut microbiome test results, dubbed Body Granola.

The three-day summit takes place on July 8 to 10 at Singapore’s Marina Bay Sands Expo and Convention Centre and this spotlight on Protein and Healthy Product Innovation will take place on Day Two of the event.

Other speakers presenting at this summit include Meiyuan Feng, PepsiCo associate director, life sciences who will be speaking on new scientific data from studies done on fermented oats, in her presentation ‘The Development and Benefits of Fermented Oats as a Novel Postbiotic Solution’.

We will also hear from Yili Assistant President Dr Ignatius Szeto who will be looking at the role of dairy in the healthy ageing process, via his talk ‘Healthy Ageing with Dairy: Targeted nutritional solutions based on science and technology’.
