Clarion is a health functional food brand launched by Wooree Enterprise in August 2025, in a strategic move to tap into the high-growth health and wellness sector in South Korea.
In partnership with multi-channel retailer GS SHOP, the company recently introduced Clarion Plus, an extension of the existing brand that will be sold solely on GS SHOP’s platforms.
GS SHOP is owned by GS Retail, a major South Korean retail company under the GS Group conglomerate, with its sales channels spanning home shopping on TV, live commerce, mobile shopping app, and online mall.
According to Wooree, Clarion Plus’s line of products, including rTG omega-3, Multivitamin, and Vitamin C, are specifically tailored to the needs of GS SHOP’s customer base.
Through this launch, the brand plans to expand its touchpoints within the online commerce space.
“By collaborating with GS SHOP, we are now able to showcase the Clarion brand across a wider range of channels,” Clarion Plus said.
“We will continue to expand our product line-up to deliver nutritional supplements that can be consistently consumed in daily life to more consumers at reasonable prices, based on transparency throughout the entire process from ingredient selection to manufacturing and distribution.”
The brand also revealed its plans to release a new Coenzyme Q10 product in mid-May.
Notably, all CLARION Plus supplements come in large-capacity packages containing a 100-day supply per box, with all products introduced at a flat price of KRW14,900 (USD9.99).
Its price competitiveness is secured through a direct distribution structure utilizing the in-house production lines of its subsidiary firm Wooree Bio.
“This strategy aims to lower the price burden in the health functional foods market, whereby long-term consumption is required, as it is designed to be used as a daily nutritional supplement for the whole family.”
As part of the launch and to align with South Korea’s Family Month gifting season in May, Clarion Plus is running various promotions, such as discounts, special exhibitions, and complimentary events to raise brand awareness and broaden consumer choices.
Stable, secure supply chain
Leveraging Wooree Enterprise’s experience in precision engineering and production, all Clarion products are manufactured by Wooree Bio, which specializes in health and bio solutions.
Through a vertically integrated structure, the brand ensures strict quality control from raw material selection to production and distribution, consistent product reliability, as well as transparency in sourcing and formulation.
As of 2026, Clarion’s portfolio consists of approximately 15 essential supplements, including multivitamins, vitamin C, lutein, MSM, rTG omega-3,organic olive oil, banaba and catechin, milk thistle with vitamin B, and coenzyme Q10.
“By adopting an M2C (Manufacturer to Consumer) supply chain model, Clarion removes unnecessary distribution layers, enabling premium-quality products to be offered at reasonable and accessible price points.
“In addition, we support multiple packaging formats, providing flexibility across diverse distribution channels.”
