Taking place from September 2 to 4 next week, the show features an exhibition space of 30,000 square meters with over 800 companies exhibiting. According to the organizer, Informa Markets, this is a 30% growth compared to the 2025 edition.
The expansion includes new and bigger floor space for the packaging and technology and pet nutrition categories in response to growing opportunities in the region.
The theme for the show is “Nutraceuticals Trends Across Generations”, focusing on redefining health and wellness across all life stages.
“Our theme, ‘Nutraceuticals Trends Across Generations,’ envisions a world where people not only live longer but thrive at every stage of life,” said Rose Chitanuwat, regional portfolio director – ASEAN, Informa Markets. “This year, the event will be 30% bigger and feature greater international participation, making it a truly global platform to explore innovative solutions that cater to the unique health needs of each generation, from Boomers to Generation Alpha.”
Australia, New Zealand debut country pavilions
For the first time, Australia and New Zealand will be hosting their own country pavilions at the trade show.
The Australia Pavilion is being delivered by the trade association Complementary Medicines Australia (CMA) in collaboration with the Australian Trade and Investment Commission (Austrade), with support through the Accessing New Markets Initiative (ANMI), which is an AUD 55 million (US$39m) program helping Australian businesses diversify and grow their exports.
As one of the first-time exhibitors, Nature’s Care Manufacture Pty. Ltd. (Australia) General Manager Michael Wu said the company was hoping to expand its reach into the Southeast Asian market through the show.
Debuting in KL next year
Vitafoods Asia will be hosted in Kuala Lumpur, the capital city of Malaysia, at the Malaysia International Trade and Exhibition Centre (MITEC) between September 21 and 23 next year.
Aside from Bangkok, the annual nutraceutical trade show was previously held in Singapore and Hong Kong as well.
The show in Kuala Lumpur next year is organized in collaboration with Malaysia’s government agencies such as the Malaysia External Trade Development Corporation (MATRADE).
It is set to occupy eight halls at MITEC, with a gross exhibition space covering 35,000 square metres.
“Kuala Lumpur represents the future of nutraceutical innovation in Southeast Asia,” said Chitanuwat. “With Malaysia’s market projected to reach nearly USD 1 billion by 2030 and its position as a regional manufacturing hub, this move enables Vitafoods Asia to unlock unprecedented opportunities for our global community of ingredient suppliers, manufacturers, and brands.”
Vitafoods Asia 2027 will also take place concurrently with Food & Hospitality Malaysia, which will be held at the Kuala Lumpur Convention Centre (KLCC) from 21 to 24 September 2027.
According to Informa Markets, this arrangement could create unique cross-sector opportunities for attendees, especially with the growing convergence between nutraceuticals and functional foods. Hospitality professionals incorporating wellness offerings can also benefit from the two shows running concurrently.
