Aker BioMarine Human Health Ingredients – H5-E49
Aker BioMarine, a major supplier of krill oil ingredients, will be highlighting the new scientific findings and formulation opportunities across its marine nutrition portfolio, including Superba Krill, Revervia, Lysoveta, and PL+.
In particular, Lysoveta, a brain-targeted LPC-bound EPA/DHA ingredient, will be featured in the Nutri Marketing Innovation Tour during the show.
As climate change and fish oil omega-3 supply continue to be a key concern in the industry, the company will be hosting a presentation titled “From Risk to Resilience: Rethinking Your Omega-3 Sourcing Strategy” on September 2 from 12:00–12:30 p.m. on the Nutra Focus Stage to discuss why diversification is becoming increasingly important and how krill and algae can provide additional options for building a more resilient, future-ready supply strategy.
Arjuna Natural Pvt Ltd – H5-E35
Botanical extract supplier Arjuna Natural will be showcasing plant extracts and customized solutions catered to the Asian and Chinese market through package sizes, flavor profiles and dosage form innovations.
Some of the key ingredient highlights include its flagship turmeric extract, which is extracted using proprietary methods and is said to offer increased absorption and high bioefficacy for functional foods, joint health supplements and cardiovascular blends.
Other than curcumin, the company will also showcase Ayurvedic extracts, such as Boswellia extract BosPure for stress relief, mood, and joint health, as well as Ashwagandha extract Shoden and more.
Balchem Corporation – H7-P09
Balchem will shed light on new scientific findings around women’s health as well as showcasing a beauty-from-within ingredient newly approved by the Thai FDA and a bioavailable form of magnesium at the show.
Specifically, new research on the ingredient VitaCholine demonstrated its cognitive health benefits in post-menopausal women, adding to the growing body of evidence supporting choline across different life stages.
On the other hand, OptiMSM, a methylsulfonylmethane (MSM) ingredient, backed by research supporting skin and hair health and recently approved by the Thailand FDA, will also be showcased at the event.
Biogrowing Co., Ltd – H7-S01
China-based microbiome company Biogrowing will unveil three ingredients supporting functions such as weight management, women’s health and digestion at the show.
One of the ingredients is Lactiplantibacillus plantarum J26, which is said to be available in both viable and inactivated forms for weight management, metabolic regulation, liver health, and emotional wellbeing.
The others are Lactobacillus crispatus Lc-G22 – a proprietary patented strain for women’s health and Weizmannia coagulans BC-G44 – a heat-tolerant probiotic said to support digestion, immunity, and sports nutrition.
Biotropics Malaysia Berhad – H3-P42
Biotropics will be highlighting its star ingredient Physta – a standardized Tongkat Ali extract sourced through long-standing partnerships with Malaysian aboriginal communities.
According to the company, the ingredient, which has shown clinical benefits for men’s and women’s health, is backed by 28 clinical trials so far.
In fact, the ingredient was co-developed with scientists from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology, with support from the Malaysian government.
DKSH Performance Materials (Thailand) Limited – H6-H01
Longevity is a key theme for DKSH at this year’s Vitafoods Asia, where it will showcase eight innovation areas, including solutions across cellular, skin, metabolic longevity and more.
Based on the theme “Longevity, Powered by Functional Ingredients”, the company will also highlight longevity solutions in areas such as gut health, active lifestyle, essential, pet health and preventive longevity.
It will also showcase finished product concepts built around the above eight longevity trends, which it said were areas with growing consumer traction.
ECA Healthcare Inc – H7-Q01
ECA Healthcare is another company that will also highlight solutions for healthy longevity at the show, with specific interest in mitochondrial function, NAD+ depletion and muscle preservation.
Examples of ingredients to be showcased include PurePQQ pyrroloquinoline quinone and ReaLipo Glutathione for cellular metabolism and addressing oxidative stress.
It will also highlight its Senolyte Series, including Senolyte NMN, Senolyte NR-AKG and ReaLipo NAD+ Boosters for NAD+ restoration, as well as PureHMB Ultrapure HMB Calcium and PineD3 Vegan Vitamin D3 as solutions for muscle preservation.
GF Fermentech - H6-K45
South Korea’s GF Fermentech will showcase how it is tackling key challenges in bone and cardiovascular health through functional ingredients at the show.
Its flagship ingredients include MediQ7 Vitamin K2 (MK-7) and Ultra Nattokinase. The former is said to promote calcium absorption into bones and prevent vascular calcification, while the latter is clinically proven for thrombolytic efficacy.
On the second day of the show (Sep 3), the company will also conduct a technical presentation on the topic “Innovative Approach to Bone and Cardiovascular Health: A Look at GF Fermentech’s MediQ7 and Ultra Nattokinase”.
Glac Biotech – H6-K50
Taiwan-based postbiotic specialist firm Glac Biotech will be bringing a host of postbiotics under its Totipro banner and probiotic solutions to the show.
Its Totipro postbiotics, including PE0301, PE0401 and CaBoost, are said to be designed for gut and daily wellness. PE0301, for example, is a blend of three proprietary strains: Lactobacillus salivarius AP-32, Lactobacillus plantarum and Lactobacillus paracasei ET-66.
The company will also showcase PRONULIFE probiotics designed for women’s health, as well as the probiotic strain Lactobacillus rhamnosus MP108 for immunity and Bifidobacterium animalis subsp. Lactis CP-9 for beauty-from-within at the show.
Greenyn Biotechnology – H3-L07
Also based in Taiwan, Greenyn Biotechnology will showcase four key ingredients for metabolic health, beauty-from-within, and vitality at this year’s Vitafoods Asia.
The ingredients include INSUMATE – said to be the first-of-its-kind bitter melon peptide recognized by the US FDA through the new dietary ingredient (NDI) route. The ingredient, backed by 19 international patents and clinical studies, has been shown to support metabolic health.
Other ingredients to be showcased include BeauSaki, sourced from edible bird’s nest; MussLift – patented marine peptides for supporting energy and vitality and cod milt extract containing polydeoxyribonucleotide (PDRN) for beauty-from-within
