Night shift supplements

Start-up Noctiva Health has made its debut with a new sleep supplement targeted at night shift workers.

Officially launching on Sept. 1, 2026, Noctiva Reset contains KSM-66 ashwagandha, magnesium bisglycinate, L-theanine and a botanical extract from the seeds of Griffonia simplicifolia (African black bean).

The formula is designed to promote relaxation and better sleep without relying on melatonin, which is prohibited in supplements in the UK and some EU member states.

Founder Additya Jani, who spent 16 years working on live overnight television, said night shift workers are often left out of the conversation around sleep supplements and the launch is designed to fill that gap.

“Around three million people in the UK work through the night, and almost everything in the sleep aisle is designed around an 11pm bedtime,” he told NutraIngredients. “That is not a niche, it is a large, identifiable audience that has been treated as an afterthought.”

He added: “A new brand cannot outspend the current big players in the market across the whole category, but nobody owns night workers... And they already understand the problem, so there is no education cost. I would rather be the first brand that genuinely belongs to night workers than the 50th brand shouting at everyone.”

MyProtein partners Twix and extends clear protein

MyProtein has collaborated with confectionery brand Twix to add the well-recognized chocolate, caramel and biscuit flavor to its extensive whey protein powder line-up. The NPD delivers 20 g of protein per serve, with just 3.2 g sugar and 2.8 g fat.

The sports nutrition giant has also extended its line of light and fruity clear whey protein plus collagen powders with three new flavors: strawberry kiwi, cranberry and raspberry, and watermelon.

Each dose delivers up to 21 g of protein, with 10 g from collagen peptides, plus added vitamin C.

Creatonics targets female-focused longevity

Founded by an Olympic gold medalist and biomedical researcher, Creatonics launched this month with a female health focused day and night creatine bundle aiming to provide a 24-hour nutrition routine for women in midlife and beyond.

The dual system delivers 10 g of pure, micronized creatine, paired with targeted nutrients and botanical extracts for daily vitality.

“Our muscles are such creatine hungry organs that they gobble up everything,” said the brand’s founder Chris Curwen, describing how his creatine stands out from the increasingly crowded market. “After you’ve saturated them, the brain is actually able to take up some and that’s why you only start to see the cognitive benefits with a dose of 10 g per day. Yet, most products on the market offer doses of 5 g or less.”

The dose is supplied across the two products, reducing the risk of GI complaints as well as providing the opportunity to integrate ingredients specifically targeting women’s needs in the morning and evening.

The day blend, available in unflavored or lemon, contains Zensera lemon balm, vitamin D3, K2 and methylated B vitamins, to support bone health, mood, muscle function, energy and hormone regulation.

The night formula, in unflavored or cocoa, includes magnesium glycinate, zinc, cocoa and SheVari4 shatavari, to support the immune system, hormonal balance, skin, hair and nails, cognitive function and sleep.

Tonic brings creatine+ to the cognitive health category

UK-based supplement brand Tonic Health has launched a brain health focused creatine blend catering to demand for convenient solutions with efficacious doses.

Bringing together four clinically studied ingredients in one daily scoop, Tonic’s new Creatine + Brain SKU offers 10 g of creatine alongside taurine, biotin and blueberry, in raspberry or tropical flavor.

Sunna van Kampen, founder of Tonic Health, said the NPD is in response to customer demand for a creatine product that fits into everyday routines, with a high enough dose to offer physical and cognitive health benefits.

“This is in response to our community asking for something straightforward, effective, and easy to take daily. Many are juggling work, family, and health goals, and want a product that supports energy and mental focus as well as physical performance,” he told NutraIngredients.

He noted that because the muscle absorbs creatine first, a higher dose is needed to boost the brain’s stores, and argued the dose required to support cognitive health is not delivered by most products entering the market.

The powder contains: 10,000 mg micronized ‘ultra-pure’ 99.9% creatine monohydrate, to support energy production; 2,000 mg Taurine, one of the body’s most abundant amino acids needed to work alongside creatine to support energy metabolism and hydration; 1,000 mcg Biotin to contribute to normal psychological function, support focus and mental performance; and 800 mg of concentrated blueberry extract, packed with antioxidants to support overall vitality.

Zooki enters healthspan arena

Liposomal supplement brand Zooki has entered the cellular health sphere with the launch of an NAD+ product targeting consumers intimidated by the science-heavy category.

Offering 300 mg of NAD+ (Nicotinamide adenine dinucleotide) per serving, the brand claims its NPD will deliver the essential cell-health coenzyme straight to the small intestine for optimum absorption.

“The liposomal encapsulation is the story of this product,” explained Sarah Carolides, head of nutrition at Zooki, “Liposomes are tiny spheres built from phospholipids. These are the same family of molecules that make up our own cell membranes.

“In our formulation, the NAD+ is carried inside those spheres, and the system is designed to do two things: shield the molecule from the harsh environment of the stomach and carry it into the small intestine where absorption takes place.”

She said the formula is “deliberately simple and clean” with no dairy, soy, and suitable for vegans, which she argues ”isn’t always the case" in the cellular health category.
