The three-day event, taking place February 23–25, 2027, will also widen its focus as the lines between traditional sports nutrition, metabolic health and active nutrition continue to blur.
“After two sold out years in San Diego, we’ve made the bold decision to move the Sports & Active Nutrition Summit USA (23-25 Feb) to Dallas. They say that everything is bigger in Texas, and we’re giving ourselves the room to grow this event in Dallas. Beyond traditional sports nutrition
The expanded agenda reflects key themes that capture shifts across the category, particularly as brands look beyond the traditional athlete and performance consumer.
Weight management and metabolic health will have a larger presence in 2027, including discussion around the opportunities emerging alongside the use of glucagon-like peptide-1 (GLP-1) receptor agonist drugs.
Muscle health and recovery will also be on the agenda, with a focus on how performance nutrition is increasingly intersecting with active lifestyles and healthy aging.
Other discussions will tackle women’s health, teen nutrition and the growing interest in cognition and stress resilience among active consumers.
Science and substantiation will run through the program, including questions around study design, meaningful performance endpoints and where evidence gaps remain. Certification, product quality and the evolving U.S. regulatory landscape will also feature.
The summit will also bring back Start-Up Stars, its platform for emerging companies in the sports and active nutrition space.

Room to grow
The move to Dallas gives SANS USA additional capacity after the previous two editions reached capacity in San Diego.
The location also puts the event closer to a large sports and performance ecosystem while offering a more central destination for delegates traveling from across the country.
SANS USA brings together stakeholders from across the value chain, including brands, retailers, ingredient suppliers, manufacturers, researchers and regulatory organizations. Event data show that 63% of attendees hold senior leadership or C-suite positions, with 85% traveling from across the United States.
The 2027 edition will also include curated roundtable sessions alongside presentations, panel discussions and networking across the three days.
