One of the most distinct shifts is towards portable wellness, with oral dissolving films, waterless powders, sachets, lozenges, effervescents, patches, liquids and advanced gummies arriving to market.
Ingredient suppliers are also increasingly focused on overcoming bioavailability challenges through targeted solutions with the aid of liposomes, nanoparticles, hydrogels, micellar tech, sustained release and capsules-in-capsules to improve ingredient solubility, stability, release and absorption.
Below a look at some of the more recent launches and upgrades bringing innovation to the space.
Jupiter Neurosciences micellar delivery
Clinical-stage pharmaceutical company Jupiter Neurosciences launched its resveratrol-based Nugevia consumer longevity product line in June to create a near-term revenue stream that supports its therapeutic pipeline.
Backed by over eight years of pharmaceutical development, it is powered by Jupiter’s proprietary JOTROL micellar delivery technology, which the company says cracks the code on resveratrol delivery and brings a clinical-grade standard to the nutraceutical space. Nugevia’s first three formulations target mitochondrial support, mental clarity and beauty from within in the growing healthspan and longevity market.
“The launch of Nugevia is the natural next step in translating our science into broad, real-world impact,” Christer Rosén, chairman and CEO of Jupiter Neurosciences, shared in a release following launch. “By building on the same proprietary technology platform that underpins our prescription drug development, we’re delivering a differentiated consumer offering with unmatched bioavailability and scientific credibility.”
Quantum physics energizes bioactives
Greenspace Herbs is commercializing what it calls Quantum Ayurveda, a line of energized ingredients and polyherbal blends developed using the company’s resonance locking technology to increase speed to effect and dose efficiency compared to conventional extracts. The company says that by ‘loading’ the raw materials with what it describes as human-body-friendly energies, it can remove subtle hurdles that can slow the onset of benefits.
“Quantum physics provides a transformative lens through which Ayurveda can be reinterpreted for the 21st century,” said Shafiulla Hirehal Nuruddin, founder and managing director of Greenspace Herbs. “In this framework, well-known herbal ingredients are not only valued for their biochemical activity but also serve as vectors carrying specific frequencies that resonate with target organs or regions in the body.”
The initial line includes single ingredients Curcumin QA, Ashwagandha QA and Berberine QA and polyherbal blends Femheal QA for women’s health and NerviTheraQA for endurance and nervous-system support.

Riize’s supplement strips
Riize LLC, a subsidiary of iMD Companies and telemedicine/pharmacy services provider, is also looking to capture supplement market share with its new fast-absorbing, oral dissolving strips for energy, sleep and sexual vitality called Riize Xtra, sold on its RiizeUp.com platform. The launch followed announcements in late 2024 that the company would leverage existing film technology developed for prescription weight loss and hair medications. Riize also recently added NAD+ cellular energy and anti-aging strips to its portfolio—formulated with NAD, vitamin C and alpha-lipoic acid and sold at Sprouts, Circle K and Amazon.
Everytime Korean red ginseng film
Korean Ginseng Corporation and its JungKwanJang brand markets a popular line of oral dissolving films, launched in 2023 for fast absorption into the bloodstream in support of energy, cognitive function, immunity and circulation. In 2025, it introduced Everytime Film Max with added guarana and B vitamins for an extra boost and a Comfy formulation that contains milk-derived protein hydrolysate Lactium and melatonin for nighttime relaxation.
“This ultra-lightweight format dissolves quickly in the mouth without the need for water, making it ideal for consumption anytime and anywhere, including at work, during travel or on business trips,” said Kai Lee, team leader of the global market development team at KGC. “Its ease of use and portability have contributed to its growing popularity among consumers.”
The company has also tapped travel retail through this new format to boost red ginseng awareness.

TopGum high-dose gummies
Israeli gummy supplier TopGum brought a new collection of active lifestyle gummies to market using the company’s proprietary microencapsulation technology to ensure high dosages. The range includes a 1.5-gram creatine gummy, a 7-gram electrolyte gummy with 100 mg of electrolytes, a high-dose magnesium combination gummy and a caffeinated energy gummy containing up to 40 mg of caffeine. Also new to the portfolio, a line of omega-3 gummies, with high-dose DHA.
Polymer-wrapped creatine
The Vitamin Shoppe collaborated with biotech company Specnova to launch BodyTech Elite Creatine Beadlets, formulated with Specnova’s NovaQSpheres multi-layer encapsulation technology. Capsules are filled with tiny red beadlets that contain four layers of creatine wrapped in polymers designed to protect creatine waste during digestion, provide greater creatine muscle saturation and support prolonged muscle feeding and uptake.
VOW chews
UK-based sports nutrition brand VOW Nutrition introduced its low-moisture creatine chews as alternative to the popular creatine gummy, as well cherry-flavored collagen chews, formulated with 1,000 mg of bovine collagen, as part of a wider move into on-the-go formats.

Boncha Bio’s candyceuticals
Boncha Bio continues to refine and promote its proprietary candy capsule micro-carrier technology platform, presenting multivitamin, omega-3, live probiotics, cognitive support, endurance and energy, and beauty and serenity “burst-chew” concepts. In 2023, dsm-firmenich acquired distribution rights to the technology in Asia, integrating its premix into Boncha’s candyceuticals to create the NutriBurst product line of soft-chews with a central filling.
Protein cages for iron
Ingredient supplier Cyvex is distributing SloIron, a plant-based ferritin iron that uses a protein cage to prevent gut irritation. It is designed for sensitive formats like gummies and chews and targets applications such as women’s, prenatal and sports nutrition.
“From our perspective, the biggest gap in the iron market centers around tolerability, consistency of absorption and real-world adherence,” said Matthew Phillips, president of Cyvex Nutrition. “
“Conventional iron salts and chelates remain standard in the market, but they come with well-documented GI side effects, metallic taste challenges and oxidation issues that complicate product development and ultimately limit long-term consumer use.”
When the ferritin protein cage reaches the gut, it is absorbed as a whole unit by the intestinal cells through a dedicated process called receptor-mediated endocytosis.

Sirio’s FizzyBits
Sirio launched its line of FizzyBits tabs, designed to be consumed without water, at Vitafoods Europe 2025. The line features FizzyBits Energy and FizzyBits Recovery with magnesium glycinate for post-workout recovery. The FizzyBits range is part of Sirio’s larger hydration solutions platform, which includes HydraPearls softgels and HydraBites gummies.
Electrolyte Boost’s waterless powders
Electrolyte Boost, founded in 2022 and known for its waterless electrolyte replenishment powder, made its first major retail push this year through a 100-store pilot program with major convenience retailers Casey’s and Murphy’s. The formula includes an electrolyte mix, Cognizin citicoline and a selection of vitamins to support performance and hydration without the need to carry a water bottle.
BonPatch transdermal vitamin patches
Australian brand BonPatch—founded by Nicole O’Neil of the Real Housewives of Sydney—introduced transdermal vitamin patches in early 2025 as a fuss-free way to deliver steady, time-released nutrients for sleep, energy, focus and skin health directly through the skin.
The brand gained traction in Australia and rapidly expanded to the United States and other markets, capitalizing on the growing demand for convenient, clean wellness solutions with its Sleep, Love, Glow, Detox, Relax, Menopause, Metabolise, Clarity and Vitality patches.
“The US is now our fastest-growing market, followed closely by Australia, where the brand originally took shape,” O’Neil said. “Consumer awareness of transdermal patches varies by region. In the US, the category is accelerating due to the growth of wearable wellness and the broader shift toward convenient delivery formats.”
BonPatch’s delivery system uses a high-grade acrylic adhesive (DURO-TAK 129A) that allows active compounds to diffuse gradually through the skin over several hours.

Ditto’s beadlets in oil
U.K. women’s health supplement brand Ditto Daily’s first product, the Cycle Supplement, features Divi’s Neutraceuticals’ “beadlet-in-oil” microencapsulation delivery system, which allows for the combination of oil-based and dry ingredients within a single capsule and boosts nutrient absorption. The startup announced in Aug. 2025 that it had raised £1.35 million ($1.72 million) in pre-seed funding.
PlantFusion’s clear plant protein
As clear, juice-style protein emerges as the next evolution of the protein category, PlantFusion joined the trend with a clear protein powder as a light, refreshing and easy-to-drink alternative to thick proteing shakes.
“Clear protein represents more than a new format it reflects how consumers are constantly searching for a variety of delivery systems” Phil Vigeant, owner of PlantFusion, shared in a launch statement. “Lighter, cleaner, functional, and environmentally responsible products are no longer niche. They’re becoming the standard.”
Arla Foods Ingredients made a splash at SupplySide West 2023 with its clear whey protein, presented as a convenient protein source chock-full of the essential and branched-chain amino acids used to boost muscle mass but without the astringency and mouth coating that has challenged the category to date.
