Institut Rosell-Lallemand launches probiotic stick in France and Mexico
Institut Rosell-Lallemand has teamed up with local partners in France and Mexico to launch a probiotic stick it markets on stress-busting claims.
Containing Lactobacillus Rosell-52 and Bifidobacterium Rosell-175, the ‘Probio’Stick’ allows probiotic powder to be poured into the mouth.
“This formula is the first probiotic preparation to be backed by two clinical studies showing its efficacy on both physical and psychological symptoms of stress and anxiety,”saidIsabelle Champié, international marketing director.
“If stress-relief and well-being are today identified as promising markets, the number of serious, safe and well-documented products is still limited, especially when it comes to psychological benefits, such as those observed with Probio’Stickapplying the type of psychological tests traditionally used for drugs.”
