UK supermarkets match Danone’s Aptamil baby formula price cuts

Following a recent investigation into soaring infant formula prices, global food company Danone has reduced the wholesale price of its Aptamil infant formula by 7%, and major UK retailers have passed the cost savings on to consumers.

Danone launches infant formula track and connect service

Danone’s commitment to greater transparency continues as the French-based firm launches an infant formula tracking service that details the ‘farm-to-fork journey’ of its Aptamil, Karicare, Laboratoire Gallia and Nutrilon brands.

There are around 170 employees working at the site, with plans to increase this to 230 by 2020.

DMK Group opens €145m baby food plant
