German ingredients firm Nutrinova is expanding its presence in the
omega-3 market with new projects underway with Chinese supplement
makers and producers of infant nutrition products.
German chemicals company Celanese has been unable to find a buyer
for its food ingredients division Nutrinova, according to a report
in the Financial Times Deutschland.
The US company Martek Biosciences is taking legal action against
Nutrinova Nutrition Specialties & Food Ingredients and its
owner Celanese Ventures for patent infringement, it announced on
Friday.
